Bosjesman Mapanga
"Kimba"

Kimba lived a very long and happy life, dying suddenly in 1997 at the age of 14.

In the last few years of her life, and even now, she is referred to as Kimba-the-Old-Cow, due to her increasing naughtiness
and complete lack of concern for the consequences. ( " What are you going to do ?   I'm an old lady - I can do whatever I like ! " )
She was an enchanting puppy, a devoted mother and even more devoted grandmother. ( " These young girls have NO idea how to raise a family " ).
She effortlessly maintained her position as head of a growing household of younger dogs, without once having to assert herself.

She was a free spirit and always entertaining.
It is thrilling to see an occasional spark of Kimba in her descendants.
