Hey everyone,

Welcome to 2010 and a fresh new year of playgroup at Marilla House Community Centre.  We hope to see new faces and those familiar faces from previous years.   Numbers are a little slow in building up but hopefully as new families settle into their new localities, kids off to their schools and other activities down pat, we hope to see more families. 

Remember you don't have to have a child to come and make friends. 

As Marilla House is partially funded by the Department of Defence, we require a good portion of numbers to be Navy (or Army or Airforce) otherwise our funding will be taken from us and we close.  However if you or your partner is not in the Australian Defence Force, you are still more than welcome to come along and bring some fresh ideas and thoughts. 

There are many reasons why you might want to join a playgroup, mums n bubs or Friday craft so get out and do it. 

If you have some spare time for a few hours once per month, maybe sit in on the committee meeting and share some thoughts on how to improve Marilla House or fundraising ideas.
