Contemporary Clay Instructors Program

Become an instructor through this unique program, which specializes in teaching you the art of three relatively new clays on the market…Makins Air Dry clay, Premo polymer clay and PMC (precious metal clay). Some fabulous artists and teachers involved in this program, definitely worth checking out if you’re interested in a creative income teaching what you love. I am proud to be part of this program and available to hold workshops and retreats (i.e. clay, bed and breakfast) in gorgeous Byron Bay, NSW. I will also travel for those who can’t tear themselves away from home.

Pam Annesley: Textile art, jewellery and book art

Pam Annesley is a wiz at all things she turns a hand to. I love what she does with fibres and polymer. She teaches workshops in various mediums and is the WA senior instructor for the Contemporary Clay Instructors Program.

Metal Clay Australasia

Jen Tattam is the originator of the Contemporary Clay Instructor Program and a Senior Instructor for PMC. She carries a HUGE variety of clays and tools…definitely worth a look! I’ve found Jen to be very helpful with queries and her mail order service is fabulously fast and efficient.

The Eclectic Studio

Roz Eberhard Swan is a wonderful artist and teacher and a darn good cook and hostess besides! Based in Sydney she runs a lovely studio catering to all kinds of creative whims, metal and polymer clay as well as resin work and bead weaving. She also has an online store you might like to poke around and if that’s not enough, she’s one of the team of Senior Instructors for the Contemporary Clay Instructors Program.

Silver Alchemy

When you click on this link you’ll discover a feast for the eyes. Truly one of the most talented precious metal artists in Australia, Lise runs workshops in South Australia in precious metal clay and is also on the team of great teachers in the Contemporary Clay Instructors program.

Original Art Dolls

Lex Sorrentino is an award-winning sculptor, specializing in art dolls and garden sculptures and we’re fortunate to have her on the team of Senior Instructors for the Contemporary Clay Instructors Program.

Aussie Polyclayers Yahoo Group

A great polymer clay forum for Aussie clayers. I’m one of the ‘mods’ there…meaning I try and make sure your questions are answered if nobody else chimes in…but more often than not, there’s ten other good opinions alongside mine. They’re such a helpful fun-loving creative bunch of people; you’ll feel right at home there.

Beading Forum

Anything you want to know about beading…has a very helpful and friendly clay forum.

Polymer Clay Central

USA based polymer clay group, very helpful and informative. I owe this crew a great deal as they nurtured me through newbie stages.

Over the Rainbow

Heather Richmond has a fabulous online store for all your clay goodies…sent to you fast and with a smile. I’ve watched her pack those parcels! She’s an amazing artist (very quiet about it mind you!) specialising in millefiori and teaches in Melbourne. Heather started Aussiepolyclayers, a great online polymer clay group (see above) and continues to support and advise clayers all over Australia.

Amanda Katz jewellery

Amanda and I work in collaboration, I make the beads and she adds her magic with her wirework. My home page shows a fine example of our fusion. Why not speak to us to discuss making one of a kind jewellery with your colour preference and choice of brass or silver wire…

Fabulous Frippery

Sera Pinwill is the mistress of wearable art. Her unique original designer art jewellery will blow you away.
