Phrenology

This interesting piece was acquired by an elderly friend who in the 1950s adapted it in an attempt to stimulate hair growth as he was beginning to bald. Needless to say, it didn't work.

It is apparently from around the turn of the (20th) century. It is great entertainment for "the boys" as it can give a good tingle when fired up from 1.5 to 6 volts.
