This 240 volt small plastic mantle radio was rescued from the bin.  It is a standard AM FM radio with reasonable performance on both bands. I grabbed it because it is a good representation of where domestic radios had evolved to by the late 1970s or early 1980S. It was manufactured in Hong Kong for Tandy (Radio Shack).
