Don't be put off by the events and athlete achievements on the home page. The majority of my clients are normal everyday people just trying to get fit and healthy. But beware, you could discover new talents and achieve something special!!!
Pursuit Personal Training is a small, mobile fitness business based in Perth's western suburbs, which supplies all equipment for training sessions and comes to you. Most people choose to train in local parks or beaches, but we can train in the comfort and privacy of your own home or office. Whatever is easiest for you.
Training outdoors is a must if you spend hours working indoors. Firstly its good for the soul to be outside breathing fresh air and being surrounded by nature. It also puts you in touch with the environment, giving you an appreciation of your local surroundings. Training outdoors most importantly improves your co-ordination, agility, balance and strength as you react and adapt to various terrains that you train in.
I (Mike proprietor of Pursuit PT) have lived in Perth for most of my life and as a result was lucky enough to be always involved in sport growing up and played plenty of football, basketball, soccer and have always enjoyed running.
In 2005 I was talked into training for a half ironman triathlon in Busselton and rediscovered my passion for fitness. From there I trained groups for the city to surf fun run and assisted in taking fit @ 50 classes, before studying fitness in the second half of the 2005 and early 2006.
Since then I have learnt a massive amount through studying and working in the fitness industry and also through the sport of triathlon, which I am also an accredited coach.
