The Islander kits are also available in a light-weight  and expedition weight  versions. The expedition version is also available with optional carbon fibre hull reinforcement. This results in an extremely strong and robust kayak.

A high volume version is available in each model to cater for larger paddlers. Two sizes of cockpit coaming are also available.
