Mark Millman Marine is committed to the manufacture of first class marine vessels and the provision of efficient and quality services to customers as a priority. However, it is also recognised that Safety and Health at work is one of the key issues of the business and ranks alongside the traditional areas of productivity and quality as a critical success factor for the business. Recognising the hazards occurring in the ship building industry, this company seeks to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and sub-contractors. The organisation will encourage an attitude that promotes Safety and Health. All employees and subcontractors must recognise and accept the need their vigilance when dealing with Safety and Health matters. They must comply with all Safety and Health rules, regulations and instructions, and accept responsibility for ensuring that they do not cause injury or harm to themselves or their fellow workers. All equipment used must be in a safe working condition and inspected prior to its use. They must also report to their immediate Supervisor hazardous conditions, practices and behaviour. All employees and subcontractors are encouraged to recommend methods through which safety and health can be improved.
