Full day - Steep Point & Zuytdorp Cliffs

This is your chance to stand on the most westerly point of the Australian mainland. From the spectacular Zuytdorp Cliffs watch the treacherous waters of the Indian Ocean 60 metres below and during the season you will see whales on their migratory journey. Across South Passage you wil see historic Dirk Hartog Island. In spring, the wild flowers are magnificent. Visit two of the Shark Bay World Heritage region's unique attractions, travelling via Shell Beach. In the saline waters of Hamelin Pool can be found the World's finest example of the oldest life form on earth. Cyanobacteria extrude secretions that combine with sediment to form hard dome-like structures called Stromatolites.
