IC30 30W, 3 Channel Mixer Amplifier

The IC30 is a 3 channel, 30 watt mixer amplifier designed for both AC and 12 volt DC operation. The amplifier is a self contained compact unit of solid steel construction suitable for table or desk mounting. An optional rack mount kit is also available.
Inputs
The IC30 has three universal inputs, each with separate level controls. Each channel will accept balanced or unbalanced microphone or a line/auxiliary input. The unit has industry standard XLR microphone sockets and a single RCA socket for each channel.
Outputs
The IC30 features 100 volt, 70 volt & 4 ohm isolated transformer outputs. A tape recorder output by means of an RCA is also provided.
Tone Generator
The IC30 will accept the ATC5488, an optional, plug-in four tone generator module. The ATC5488 connects to a 7 pin receptacle inside the amplifier and provides Bell, Pre-announce Chime, Alert Tone (AS2220.1) and Evacuate Tone (AS2220.1). Any of these tones can be activated from a simple contact closure which may be wired to the spare terminals on the rear of the amplifier.
Muting
The IC30 includes a muting facility where channels 2 and 3 are muted when two terminals on the rear panel of the amplifier are shorted. Alternatively, an optional plug-in VOX muting card (TX3010) is available. With the TX3010 installed, signal on input 1 will automatically mute inputs 2 and 3.
Protection
Internal current limiting protects the amplifier from overload and overdrive conditions. Australian Monitor Installation Series amplifiers feature a protection network that provides greater stability and performance. Our amplifiers are recognised worldwide for their reliability and this is due to the extensive levels of current limiting which protect the amplifiers from both overload and overdrive conditions.
