Library and Heathcoate Park

8/2/05

Dear Parents,

Please note the first library day this Thursday to be followed by an excursion to the Heathcoate Park in Applecross. We will be arriving by bus at 12.45 but would love to have all the families that can meet us at the park for lunch.

If are not able to access the Bold Park web site or have not registered to do so please do as we have started to post the children’s work, photo’s and teachers’ reflections. This is an easy way for you to keep up with your child’s experiences at school and be involved.

Ciao
Gillian, Trudi and Bec.

Class Organisation
02/02/05 16:26

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the FRW class notes for 2005. We have had a great start to the year with the children working hard already.

Just a few organisational notes about how the programme we will run over the following term.

Swimming

The staff have decided to have swimming lessons in term four this year. The reasoning behind this is.
1/ To allow the children to settle into the year without the disruption of swimming every day.
2/ To relocate swimming lessons at the beginning of the swimming season rather than the end.

More information will follow in term three.

Library and Outings

Library day will be every second Thursday starting Thursday the 10
th of February. We will be pairing each library outing with another outing. We have a list of outings organised for February.

10
th Feb Library and Lunch at Heathcote Park in Applecross. (There is a great pirate playground and a hospital history museum). PLEASE COME AND HAVE LUNCH WITH US IF YOU CAN. WE HOPE THAT THIS COULD BE A FAMILY OUTING FOR THE START OF THE YEAR.

17
th Feb We will be travelling to Forest place for a Festival of Perth event by the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. (No library as this is an extra excursion)

24
th Feb Library and then to an electronic art exhibition at Curtin.

We hope that at least two parents will be able to come with us each Thursday. Please tell Trudi or Gill if you wish to join us.

However we would like all families to come to Heathcote.

Communication.

All class notes and reflections will be posted on the web on Wednesday and over the weekend. So please check the web site at least twice a week for updates.

Drumming

Drumming will start in week three can all parents who wish their child/children to do drumming please let Trudi or Gill Know.

Introduction
29/12/04 14:47

The notices on this page will be important messages that the students or families in FRAW should be aware of. Hopefully this will help us to all know what is going on and coordinate the activities in the class however for this to work you need to check this site regularly. You will be alerted that a new message is on the site by an email and also a notice on the door at school.
It is not planned to give any paper notices out at school. You will be able to view the class notices in the Parent Communication folder in the classroom.
We look forward to a wonderful year full of challenges and discoveries.
Gill and Trudi
