Welcome to Parents Without Partners - ACT

Where Are We?

Australian Capital Territory, Australia

The Australian Capital Territory site of about 900 square miles in New South Wales was selected in 1901 when the states were joined into a federation.

The site is between Melbourne and Sydney. The main city is Canberra, the seat of the federal government with the satellite cities of Belconnen and Woden. ACT has a population of approximately 300,000 people and is a magnificent setting surrounded by river valleys and hills offering hiking and skiing.
