| My family lives on a farm in Yallingup which is in the South West of Western
Australia, In Yallingup. The Nearest Major city is Perth 4 hours away and
nearest major town is Margaret River.
I am a
traditional farmer and I grew up in the "wheat belt" of Western Australia.
My daughter Chantell and I are registered breeders and members of the Waratah
Cat Breeders Association. My daughter and I breed cats together and she
actively participates at cat shows by showing one of our cats. Our breeding prefix is Rainbowwells. You may wonder why such a name? It derived
from the day we bought our property. It was an overcast day with darkening
clouds. We were standing looking at the land and the dam. Quite suddenly the
clouds were lightened and a beautiful rainbow appeared, it put light into a
dark day. So that was the name for us as we both like rainbows.
Beautiful Ragdoll cats are the only cats we breed. We are a small cattery with
three breeding females and a Grand Champion Silver status stud cat. Our kittens
are house raised and handled from early days. We have a safe outdoor enclosure
where the cats are happy to roam and bask in the sunshine. When not outside
they share our home. We train our cats to be familiar with harness and leads so
that we can take them outside for safe walks with us especially when we feel it
is too cold for them to be outside. As you can imagine they get many admiring
glances when we go walking.
We have found wonderful homes for our kittens not only here in Australia but in
Hong Kong and Singapore. We do get repeat orders from previous buyers who wish
to increase their cat family. If you would like to own one of our kittens then please contact us. We would be
happy to talk with you and offer any information about the breed. |
