Railfest Railfest is held each November and is a feast for Railfans Last year Railfest featured the S class, 'Greenmount' in steam , a demonstration train and a power parade of Westrail and National Rail diesel locomotives.
Locomotive and Rollingstock Restoration Members of the ARHS are actively involved in restoration of the societies collection of rollingstock. An example on the left is the interior of the ZJ brakevan that has been restored as a mobile museum. Currently locomotives G233 and H18 are undergoing restoration at Midland.
