As announced in previous posts, I was trying to create a product based on my hobby Soarer audio conversion project, which can be used by other Soarer owners to convert their cars’ audio systems. This work was more difficult and time consuming than the initial R&D I did to accomplish the conversion. I am pleased to announce that the product is available now and I have a limited number of audio conversion kits available for immediate delivery.


The conversion has been extensively tested in four cars and five radio units. All units performed as expected and advertised here:

The Australian price includes 10% GST and postage to any state in Australia. There will be a discount for all current owners of the TV conversion kit who bought the TV kit to this day. The discount will be 50% of the TV kit price. For those who bought the full version of the TV kit the discount will be $44, GST included ($286 radio kit price). For the ones who bought the cost down version of the TV kit the discount will be $22, GST included ($308 radio kit price). Please note that I keep record only of the people I have directly sold the TV kit to, therefore I can provide discount only to them.

A list of the radio station names, the kit is shipped with, is given in the installation manual (check Richard’s site for this document). For custom names I need a list in the format specified in the document and it will be at additional cost of:

9GBP – UK
24NZD – New Zealand
Please note that a cheaper option would be to build a serial cable, as specified in the installation manual, and program any new station names yourself.
