I get my TV to work in Australia, UK, Ireland and New Zealand?
YES!!. A fine guy by the name of Vlad has developed a PCB to go into the existing Soarer TV tuner module to remap the channels and a simple mod to change the sound carrier. The kit is comprehensive and very well put together. All stations are covered except CH. 2 which can't be mapped. The kit also includes 2 aux A/V inputs which are tuned to channels 19 and 20. The kit also requires the purchase separate of a digital PAL/NTSC converter. Below is a sample link you may want to use but bare in mind it should have an automotive rating on the power supply.
The "in motion" mod will work for this conversion also and this is covered in other tutorials.
2 kits are available. The first edition with 2 a/v inputs or the cut down version with no a/v inputs.
