Magazine Articles

Magazine articles can be many and varied. Over the last fifteen years I've done heaps, mainly for trade magazines and small circulation specialised publications. As most of these articles were written under contract, and as I was new to the writing game I do not own the copyright, or there are restrictions on reproduction.There are a couple of articles I'd like to reproduce here:

Bell Iroquois UH1H
Recovering a Classic (DH Tiger Moth)
Restoring a dream (Lotus Clubman)
My Exotic Nightmare (DinoFerrari 246)
Outback Queensland(Camoweal)

In some cases the articles were written for magazines which no longer exist, there are government restrictions, or there are accompanying photographs which require the Photographer's permission. In any case, because I am strict on controlling my own copyright (I learnt the hard way) I cannot reproduce these articles with out first obtaining permission.

Moral of the story for all writers.

UNDERSTAND COPYRIGHT LAW AND RETAIN COPYRIGHT OF ALL YOUR WRITING. IT IS VERY TEMPTING WHEN YOU ARE FIRST TRYING TO GET PUBLISHED TO SELL COPYRIGHT.
