The bush fires on 7th February 2009 destroyed a lot of towns ,farms , houses and lives.
Over the last few months the Land Rover Club of Victoria has been helping with repairing fencing,track clearing and other projects to assist with rebuilding.
In late March I assisted with some work on a property at Glenburn (between Yarra Glen and Yea on the Melba Highway).
The work involved some track clearing as well as clearing a fence line from burnt Tea Tree on a very steep slope (estimated to about 30 deg).
It was very hot ,dusty work and we finished clearing the fence line mid afternoon .
