Mt Tarrengower Hill Climb 2009
The Mt Tarrengower Hill Climb is the oldest in Australia and is run annually in October by the Bendigo Car club and the Vintage Sports Car Club.
It is located at the Central Victorian Historic town of Maldon and is normally the main access road to the top of Mt Tarrengower
I have been attending it for many years and it attracts a wide variety of historic cars with a real picnic like atmosphere. There are a lot of very interesting cars in the car park .
The track itself is about a mile (1.6 km) long and climbs about 600 ft (182m).The fastest time ever for the hillclimb was set in 1978 by the late Werner Rodkin of 37.1 sec.
This years Hill Climb was great with perfect weather
