For a number of years a few friends and myself go camping for a few days early in January.However the last few years it has been too hot and dangerous due to bushfires to go camping in the bush.
Luckily this year the weather forecast was for milder temperatures with no fire danger periods over the five days on which we had planned to go away.We decided to go and explore the Strathbogie Ranges  an area which I had not been to for over 10 years .

We had a good time exploring the 4wd tracks in the area which were   in good condition although a couple were overgrown and one I almost got bogged in a  mud hole (it was deeper than it looked) .

It was a relaxing time in the bush with good friends .
