Below is how my Oppy Racer was set up for a Great Victorian Bike ride (partly restored) with new 36 spoke steel rims, alloy hubs and a made up cluster of 17,21,28 with minimum derailleur clearance, plus a seat post mounted drink bottle, all worked perfectly.
