Hello (G'Day) and thank you for taking the time to look in. I live in Albany, which is situated on the south coast of Western Australia. If you look at a map of Australia we are in the bottom left hand corner; this is a wonderful part of the world and is my idea of heaven.

I served in the British Merchant Navy as a young lad with the Port Line and the New Zealand Shipping Company. If you click on my watercolour of the Port Townsville below, there are pictures of ships and dates that I sailed in them. Maybe we were shipmates? If so, I would just love to hear from you. There are also pictures of those magnificent creatures the whales that grace our shores for three months each year and a little of the history surrounding the dark days when they were hunted.
