Most of the artworks which you see on these pages are made from stone. The original is plaster or clay, and is destroyed in the casting process. The work needs further finishing after casting. As the piece is lovingly crafted (and sometimes viciously tortured) it gradually takes on a new identity. Each work has its own unique personality but they all have the undeniable signature of the artist, the stark and deliberate contrast between almost lifelike reality and obvious symbolism.

Commissions can be made in stone, plaster, glass-reinforced-polyester or bronze. A wide variety of finishes and effects are possible. Please speak with the artist and he can show you his personal favourites.
