1987 Joined Nissan Motor Sport
  Winner of the 2.0 L Australian Touring Car Championship
Winner of the 2.0 L class Castrol 500
  Winner of Class 1 - NSW Off Road Championship
1988 Pole position at the Pepsi 250 (finished 2nd)
 
1989 Winner of the Sandown 500 (with Jim Richards)

1990 Developed & campaigned the new Nissan GT-R
