Bomber Harris lead bombing missions which flattened Berlin, Dresden etc killing millions of innocent Germans, he was heralded as a hero, why? he should have been tried for war crimes. By the way, Stalin killed around 40 million of his own even before he entered the war, was he tried for crimes?

One thing you always have to remember, History is written by the victors, hence the persecution of the whole German nation since WW2.Imagine if tables had been turned, we would see USSR, USA and UK leaders hung for war crimes.

I agree and I dislike Germany to be considered some kind of demon. If Hitler was bad..., he was supported by Petain in France, Antonescu in Romania, etc. Nazism is not a German capital sin.

yes the Reich may have killed that many and the Reich collectively was made up of many different countries. Even soviet men joined the Reich. almost 100 000 soviets joined the waffen ss.
