All soldiers commit war crimes. Don't believe all the allied propaganda. The victors write the history. My grandfather knew men who were in the SS and they were shocked about the allegations made against them. This is why most SS veterans go to their grave denying war crime allegations. Most would consider the fire bombings of a civilian cities with no military targets by the allies as war crimes.
