War Crime Terminology, Partisans or Terrorists?
To understand war crime terminology one must first see to whom it refers too, for example if the USA is referring to them self’s or a ally the terminology used will be different, If someone is fighting on the US side they a referred to as a partisan or a freedom fighter, but if the same people are fighting against the US or its allies they are referred to as a terrorist!
When Osarma Bin laden was fighting against the Russians in Afghanistan he was not only considered a freedom fighter by the US government but even financed by them as well!
When Saddam Hussein was fighting a war against Iran he was supplied and supported by the US government, they even gave him satellite photos off where to bomb! And the US even trained members off Iraqis military in interrogation, or more commonly known as torture if not used by the US!
So its quite clear terrorist & partisan referrers to same group off people, the name only changes depending on whose side they are fighting on. The same goes for torture if used by enemies of the US its called torture, but if used by the US the same thing is called interrogation!
This is even more common when the US refers to War crimes, one needs only to look at the war crime trails after WW2, and one can soon see these war crime trails had one major fault, only one side was tried in this one sided court! Does anyone seriously really believe only one side committed war crimes during WW2?
And even at the time the US new full well that the Soviets under Stalin committed more war crimes then all the other sides combined in WW2! Even before WW2 had started Stalin had already murdered 40,000,000 people.
