We love all Rhodesian Ridgebacks but have to admit to having a very soft spot for the brown-nosed (or liver, for our overseas friends) variety. In fact, we deliberately breed for this characteristic and are very disappointed if there's not at least one brown-nosed puppy in each litter! Our foundation bitch, herself a brown-nosed, is shown below, engaging in high jinks with her first mate. Poor Simbatu had to wait for quite a while until young Zmud was old enough for their mating.
