Making laplap

This laplap has just been removed from cooking underneath hot stones, and its surrounding banana leaves unfolded. Coconut milk is being squeezed over the yellow and brown cooked laplap. The milk is being beaten in with a carved club. The laplap is then folded over, kneeded and baked again before being eaten.
