WAGIN DART ASSOCIATION 2008 TRIPLES CHAMPIONSHIP
The Wagin Dart Association 2008 Triples Championship will be held at The Wagin District Club on Tuesday 8th April
This is the first game of the home and away fixtures. All players are asked to make an effort to attend
For more information contact the Secretary (Robert Blee) on 0407 089 468.
Rules will be enforced this year concerning player etiquette.
Any player showing bad sportspersonship. ie. Tantrums, drunkenness, disrupting games etc. will be dealt with by first, the caller stopping the game, second the book keeper (The Referee) making a decision on the player's conduct and then the team Captains being called to make a decision on the handling of the offence, which will in any case be reported to the committee.
The player may be asked to cease playing for that shot and score not to count or they may be ejected from the remainder of the game and if necessary the premises. Three reports during the season will see a player lose his or her place in the Association and they will play no further games for that season.
Score Sheets will be kept in a neat manner and averages are not to be rounded off. The averages will be written as they appear on the calculator. ie. If aplayer has an average of say 45.38, it will be written as such, not rounded off to 45.40 or any other variation. Bad book keeping may result in points penalties to the infringing team.
Score sheets and game monies must be handed in to the Wagin Co-op or the Radio Station by noon on the Thursday following the game. Penalties will apply. Travelling teams are resonsible for the score sheets and the game monies.
Monies: An amount of $170.00 is to be paid by each team participating before the first game of the fixtures. This includes $50.00 Dart Board deposit and subs for 6 players. More players can be added later and they have 3 games to pay their subs. No team will recieve a dart board until their deposit for that board is paid.
