TREE TOP WALK
Giant suspended walkway through the towering canopy of
the forest -
get a birds’ eye view. Highest point 40 metres
above ground level.
Enjoy boardwalk through the ancient empire of giant karri
and tingle trees.

Takes its’ name from the Norwegian barque “Mandalay” wrecked in 1911 off the coast between Chatham Island and Long Point. At certain times the remains of the wreck can still be seen. Excellent beach fishing. |

From mid-September through to
November/December the bushlands surrounding Walpole become an ever changing
kaliedescope of vivid colour, enhanced by a backdrop of green.
White Clematis, native Blue
Wisteria and yellow Wattles predominate.
However, these are interspersed
with flowering plants of every other hue and size, from the
largest forest tree to the tiny
unique jewels of the native orchids.
Western Australia is famous for
its’ wildflowers, with the South Coast
having greatest concentration
