TREE TOP WALK

ANCIENT EMPIRE

The Valley of the Giants is located within the Walpole-Nornalup National Park, 16 K’lms west of Walpole.
The Tree Top Walk has recently been constructed to allow visitors to walk its’ 600 metre steel frame construction walkway 40 metres high up in the canopy of the giant trees of the Tingle Forest –
suitable for assisted wheelchairs.

A unique experience !

The Ancient Empire’s boardwalk wanders around the bases of the
giant trees giving a different perspective of the forest floor.
The boardwalk also serves to protect the trees from the impact of visitors.

Boronia Festival

Each August the town of Walpole holds its’ Boronia Festival Market Day -
Stalls selling products with a Boronia theme, including live Boronia plants.

The unique perfume of Boronia permeates the town at this time.
(Boronia megastima is indigenous to the South west of Western Australia)
