Welcome To Wenalan

Wenalan stud is situated on an 18 acre irrigated farmlet in North Central Victoria in the beautiful surrounds of the City of Greater Shepparton. The stud commenced breeding Miniature Ponies in 1986 starting out with a handful of ponies. The stud grew over time to peak at around 30 ponies, but recently we have reduced the number of ponies significantly and have ventured into separately breeding Miniature Horses.
The stud has retained several select miniature pony mares, which maintains the pony side of things
The nucleus of the miniature horse stud has been established with the purchase of our stallion Weebelong Orion Moon and several quality MHAA mares.
We have always been keen on breeding pinto horses and we purchased Orion with this in mind
