In this lesson we're focusing on creating matching elements of a webpage, i.e., navigation buttons, divider, tile patterns and gradient. Swatches based on colours taken from the graphic are below.
The pattern tiles were made with a plain green background, a gold pattern already in the Materials Pallet and subtle green pattern made with plain green to which about 12 percent gaussian noise was added and then put through an Art Media effect found here: Effects/Art Media/Brush Strokes.
The header graphic is a photo of the lovely foreshore flowers growing only two minutes walk from my back gate. The photo has been greatly reduced in size for faster loading. I've also increased the saturation and contrast to bring out the colours and tones seen with the eye.
