ELECTRIC GUITARS AND BASS GUITARS FOR SALE

This page lists electric guitars for sale. I currently have some very nice Cort guitars and bass guitars, oakridge lap steel, some nice Eastman guitar cases, as well as various electric guitar parts.

I can also provide repairs to guitars, particularly electricals, such as pickup replacement, rewiring (eg changing between active to passive), etc. Email or phone to see if I can help.

All prices are inclusive of GST. I am able to organise freight, if required. Cost varies with destination. For schools wishing to order, I am able to provide ABN and invoice the school.

Instruments listed here are either brand new, brand new but a "second" (i.e. not in perfect condition), or repaired. All items I am happy to guarantee for 3 months.

Cort Guitars and Bass Guitars

Cort Source Electric Guitar

Cort Source Electric Guitar Cort Source Electric Guitar

Brand new in perfect condition. Cort version of the ES335. Set-Neck construction, Maple Top Back & Sides, 42mm (1.65") nut width, maple top, Canadian Maple C Shape neck with Ivory Binding, Rosewood fingerboard 305mm (12") radius, 22 Medium Sized Nickel frets, 24.75" scale length, Dot inlays, Vintage tuners, T.O.M Bridge & Stop Tailpiece, ClassicRocker-II Pickups (Alnico II), 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 3way switch, Nickel hardware, Semi Hollow Double Cutaway Body - 2 6/9” body depth. Comes in a soft gig bag.

I have compared this to an original Gibson, and there are differences. The Cort is lighter. This means it is not balanced as nicely when standing up and playing. The cort has a tendency to start to rotate downwards with the weight of the neck bringing it down. This is only just noticeable, when you take you hands and arms off it. The pickups sound pretty similar, but the Gibson seemed to have a slightly higher output. They both play pretty much the same, and thats comparing the Cort straight out of the box from the factory with my friends nicely set up original.

If weight is an issue, and less is better, then the Cort is a good option. If you don't mind a bit extra weight so that the guitar sits nicely when standing, and you have the extra $3k plus, well, there are some gents at the local music shop eagerly awaiting your custom.

Retails for $899, this one for $550.

Electa LP Classic Les Paul Electric Guitar

Electa LP Classic Les Paul Electric Guitar Electa LP Classic Les Paul Electric Guitar

This guitar has been used for some demo purposes. It has not had much use, but does have some damage, as shown in the photographs. These are purely cosmetic issues only. There is a small chip off the end of the head stock, and a small crack in the finish between two of the controls. Comes in a soft gig bag. This is not an Electa from the 70's, but a recent one, probably made in the past few years.

Carved mahogany body with a flamed maple top. Set maple top. Cream colour neck and body binding. Rosewood fingerboard, covered humbuckers, tune-o-matic bridge with stop bar tailpiece, die cast machine heads, chrome plated hardware.22 frets, 24.75" scale.

I have always felt that these Electa copies are so close to the real thing. A supurb guitar to play. There would be many real Gibsons that have come out of the Gibson factory that would not be as nice as these. They are the best copies I have seen so far. Pity they are no longer going to be available.

price $500.

Eastman Electric Guitar Case

Eastman Electric Guitar Case Eastman Electric Guitar Case

I have a number of these cases. Brand new, but may have some very slight scuff marks on them. Fibre glass type construction. Very light, strong and oh so stylish.

Only issue is that I'm not sure what guitar it actually fits. It looks very much like a case for guitar with a stratocaster body and pointy headstock. Likely contenders are Kramer Focus or Pacer, various Jackson guitars like the Dinky, Ibanez rock series, Washburn Rocker series, possibly some BC Rich guitars?, Carvin JB20DC, JB24, DC127 and DC135 guitars. Would appreciate any and all feedback, suggestions etc as to what might actually fit.

I have tried a Strat, and the body fits perfectly. The headstock however does not drop down, so it won't fit.

All cases have a hygrometer fitted, and are lockable.

Price is $50 each, normally around $250 (if you can get them in Australia).
