What is COCOA?
COCOA is an abbreviation for 'Come Out Camping Older Adults'
COCOA was started in 1987 by a small group of slightly older adults, about 30 in all, who's desire was to stay young and vital for as long as possible, without having to compete against the younger generation. They arranged to hold recreational lifestyle holidays and day outings to achieve these aims.
THE CLUB'S
AIMS
To provide members with opportunities to meet and
enjoy the company of like minded of the same general age group.
To promote and maintain both mental and physical fitness among
members.
To hold recreation lifestyle holidays and other activities so
that the clubs aims be achieved.

Several one day outings such as coach tours with
lunch provided are arranged, and from time to time the club
negotiates other functions of interest to members,
